Our Vision
At New Covenant Word Ministries, we believe in God’s vision for the LGBTQIA+ community and revival for our people. We are thankful for our covering, Bishop Randy Morgan and Apostle Johnny Layton and are grateful for the shared vision of the ministers of the Covenant Network.

Apostle Mike Whited
Mike Whited was born and grew up in Nashville, TN with the dream of becoming the first nationally known opera singer from the country music capital of the world. God had other plans.

Mike Whited was born and grew up in Nashville, TN with the dream of becoming the first nationally known opera singer from the country music capital of the world. God had other plans.
During his post-college years Mike began as a nursery volunteer and soon was a youth pastor, then praise & worship leader. Eventually he became an associate and ultimately a senior pastor.
When Mike came out he left the ministry for a season. In 2010 he met and made covenant with his husband Dan and together they began searching for a spirit-filled, affirming church. They soon found New Covenant Atlanta and a place to call home. Mike was ordained an Apostle in the Covenant Network in 2013 and has been traveling the network and allied churches and supporting their pastors ever since.
